Paper version

I actually started on a new cosplay yesterday! Here is half the paper version! Can you guess what cosplay it is?

If I continue making it with this speed I'll be able to wear it at FrostBite! And that means that Link will be on hold... and another thing with Link is that I really don't think it will make it to that convention so I had to come up with something else that's new! I really don't want to wear an old cosplay...
But! If one of the two new cosplays doesn't make it to the convetion then I'll probably be Ventus.

Another thing with this secret cosplay is that I'm scared that my body form will ruin the whole thing! So I'm really taking a big chance with this one!

Tomorrow shopping with Saana! Mostly to go buy for her stuff but maybe we can go past some shops that I need to go to ;3 Let's see, that would be Eurokangas, a hobby shop to get lots of paint and glue for the hot gluegun and then Etola!

Skyward Sword

Oh god I want to cosplay so many characters from the new Zelda game: Skyward Sword! But one of my favorites would be Fi!
So once again I'm thinking of changing my cosplay to FrostBite, first Hideyoshi then Link (Zora armor) then Ventus and now to a character from Skyward Sword... Maybe I'll just make them all three (not Hideyoshi) and then when the day comes I'll pick the one that I want to cosplay at that moment...

But no, I don't have the money so I'll just have to be content with Link.
The helmet only needs paint! One of the most difficult parts is almost done! First I was thinking that this would be a test piece but I don't think I have the time to do the whole thing all over again. See the little blue corner? That's a place that I had to rebuild.

And I started with the Hylian shield, strangely I have been in the mood for making the props and I really DON'T want to start sewing...Oh well all comes in good time. But then again time is running short! It's soon December, a really busy month... I really hope that my cosplay will be finnished before January.

Here I haven't glued the detailed parts yet and the back still needs to be done. Luckily it's a lot more easier that the front.

The scales are just haning around in my room... But I can't really continue on them until I've sewed the black shirt. And I think I have to remove some scales cause it's to big and I think I've made it a bit too long... So I really need to start sewing!!!!

Frostbite: Change in plans

So first I was supposed to cosplay Hideyoshi on saturday at Desucon Frostbite, but that project is on hold for now and won't be for this convention.

So I had to come up with something new, something that looked awesome and a bit difficult with challenge...
It didn't take long to come up with one and I went shopping today for the materials!
But I'm really scared that it will fail horribly, so I'll tell you guys what it is when the hardest part is done and it has to look good too!

Those scales are a real pain! I've got about over one hundred now and I'm gonna need more, lots of it...
