This week on WorldCosplay, Zone-00 continues with the witch of the North, Ruiko!

It was a cozy cosplay in winter, that I really liked! The cape was pretty heavy... I've actually thrown it away because I never used it again but now I really regret it... So I might make it again but then again the character is a little girl and that doesn't really fit me... Soon it's been two years since I made this cosplay for Frostbite 2013, how time flies!

Well Frostbite 2015 is coming fast... ARGH I just remembered that I forgot to buy the buttons for the vest... But the jacket is almost done!!!

WC Week Bishamon

Tomorrow on WorldCosplay, I'll start posting pictures of my Bishamon cosplay from Zone-00!

It was a disaster hahaha, I don't remember much when I was sewing it but I do remember making the shoes and the pearls on the glasses. But the disaster was at the convention, it was the first time I was binding my chest with sports tape and that was a big mistake... My skin didn't like it all and it left pretty ugly scars and it took a while to heal as well. But I did have fun with our group Benio cosplayer, sadly our Benten was cosplaying the next day when I had to leave.

Now a bit of Frostbite progress... Alois pants are done, as well as Ciel's. My vest only needs buttons and the stripes, so the biggest parts that need to be done are the jacket and shoes. But I'm happy with the progress so far. My friend Ciel is also starting to look good!

Frostbite 2013 Afterward part 1

This part is just some pics of my cosplay that I made well in time~

Ruiko, witch of the North from Zone-00! Had a hard time finding reference pictures!!! Another problem was that I kept losing weight while making it and then had no time to make it smaller :P OH WELL~   + I don't look like a cute little girl so it doesn't really suit me :'<

First cosplay for 2013!

Started it on Monday and I've gotten a lot already done just in two days!!! So happy!
This will be my coming cosplay for Desucon Frostbite 2013. Sorry I don't have time to write more nor do I know what I should write :P Soo...

Desucon 2012 a big flop!

Where should I begin...
It went really well in the beginning! Me, Jarmo, Sami and Starblom headed to Desucon on Friday, and oh it was a fun ride~
At Desucon it was a bit annoing that me and Jenna had to run around at the convention looking for the seller for Jarmos ticket but at least we found her!

And we also got some pictures with Jenna of our Zone-00 cosplays!

I was awake all night since I couldn't get any sleep but early on Saturday morning I was starting to feel sick and hurting, I was having an allergic reaction and a really bad panic attack! First time I cried at a con and I'm 20 years old for gods sakes! Grow up woman! So I called my mom to get me home and now I've been lying in my bed for two days in pain poping medicine...

So this convetion was a waste of money and time! I'm so dissapointed in myself cuz I couldn't be there with Benten and Kisshou on Saturday! Well hopefully we'll go some other day photoshooting.

And as usual, good pics when I'm goofing around and the innocent angel ;D

KISS Luka KISS

"Think! One easy, quick to do cosplay!!! Cuz I can't wear Bishamon all day!!! Roxas? Näh, Ven? Nope! Len? Hmm, maybe...no. Cloud Strife or maybe Luka KISS version?"
I asked a friend, boy or girl, he said girl so that's why I decided to do this one VERY quickly!!! Only spent a half an our to do it and I'm almost done!

And I also did the bellybutton jewel for Benten cuz she didn't have enough money so I hope this is okay :P

4 days until Desucon

Oh god!!!! So much to do!!!

My wig was a disaster! It didn't fit on my head! And since it has to be tied up, you could se my hair from the back and sides... So I decided to sacrifice my curly blond wig, I'm going to straight it and fix it up for Bishamon.

This is how it looks now, pinned with needles ands stuff together...I do look like a good femme version now that I'm taking a second look at it xD

What still needs fixing is the belt, everything needs to be ironed, the lower part of the yukata needs some fixing, THE WIG NEED TO BE COMPLETELY DONE AND THE PROP!!! I need to draw the octopus for Benten and some other jewelles AND OTHER STUFF!!! So quite a lot....damn it

And looks like I'll only be cosplaying for one day or couple of hours since it's such a problematic one... Maybe something casual on Friday,Sunday and Saturday evening, we'll see.

Oh, why only one shoe? It broke, AGAIN! I need to take the hot gluegun with me and lots of other stuff, just for one cosplay xDD

Weird Yukata

Bishamon has a yukata... I don't ever want to sew something like that again! And it's not even finished xD The weird part of this is probably because I'm doing it in two pieces which I'll be sewing on togheter and cover it up with the belt, the reason why I'm doing it like this is because of the weird folding style at the lower part.

Now the upper part is ready! Shoes are also almost, they could use some more glue and paint + I might add something so that I could actually walk with them! They add 20cm lenght! It's kinda scary being 20cm taller than usual :''D

I tried walking with them, it went well when I was clinging on to a wall but when I just had the stick I was walking sooooo short steps and went well until I fell xD I did somehow manage to jump out of the shoes and land on my feet :'''DD

Also made some small jewellery parts but no pics of that yet and I got the wig yesterday! But also that one will probably get it's own post when it's ready.... Oh! also Benio's wig came a few weeks ago, gave it to our Benio cosplayer but I did take some pics of it~ I always say Benio but she'll be cosplaying the Kisshou version xD BUT if she has time she'll also do Benio <3 So our Zone-00 group will be like this: Friday Benio and Benten, Saturday Bishamon, Kisshou and Benten, Sunday Bishamon, Benio and Benten <3 Zone-00 WEEKEND <3 I won't be there on Friday so what to do :< no place to sleep and cheaper ride on Saturday x3

But overall this cosplay is coming along nicely, but there is still much to be done... AND ONLY 11 DAYS 'TIL DESUCON!!!11!!!!!!1!! No stress xDD

Think Gold!

Finished Bishamon's glasses, it's so annoying that the Yatagarasu have everything golden, hair, wings and eyes! So I had to do the jewellery gold too! And I'm such a silver person xD

Well I spray colored the glasses since there were only silver ones!!! Then I did the chain completely from scratch! I couldn't find anything like it so I had to do it.... At distance it looks good but close up... you can really see the amature work xD Hey it was my first time making something like this! I even had to buy all the tools for help. But all in all it turned out ok.

I've bought all the fabrics and already cut some but I think I'll start sewing next weekend when I have time. Tomorrow I'll be going to my summer home to celebrate mothers day with other relatives, at the same time I will try to make the shoes and maybe the staff. We'll see how much time I will have to do them. Hopefully I'll find the material at least so I can take them with me and continue at home if I don't have the time to do them there...

Killer boots

The ballerina boots for Kisshou/Benio arrived yesterday! I tried them on and I could bearly stand! So looks like for now they'll be only on when photoshooting... But our Benio cosplayer did say that she'll practise with them but we'll see :'D

Soon I'll be able to start on my own cosplay: Bishamon.
As soon as I get the money to buy fabrics and time to do it, for now it's school first and then cosplay. I just have 14 days of school left and then I'm finished! Then starts the job hunting...

I'm thinking of only making one cosplay to Desucon but I really want to cosplay something girly and at the same time sexy! But with my body as it is now it would be shamefull... I've been playing Final Fantasy 8 a lot so my motivation to cosplay Rinoa has risen to the top again!

I'd also want to finish my Ventus/Zora armors... Yeah  should do that...

Tattoos

Every character in Zone-00 has somekind of a tattoo, some just a small flower others BIG ASS TATTOOS EVERYWHERE!!! Which is a bit annoying...
So yesterday I ordered the special paper, but just came up with a small problem, printers don't use white ink, not if they are special. This is a problem only with Benten's octopus/squid on his arm, the rest are fine.

I've drawn some of the tattoos today, almost all of Benio/Kisshou, the bird, flower and the letter. We will probably draw his scars direct on skin and I'll probably still draw the star on tattoo paper.

And then all of Bishamon are ready, the feather, flower and the letter.

The only tattoos not done are the ones from Benten, the octopus is getting on my nerves since in every picture it looks different!!! Now I'm drawing his back tattoo, the one that has a flower with wings. The flower part is done... I'll do the rest some other day...

Oh yeah! I also drew Mayokos flower since my friend who'll be cosplaying Benten might also cosplay her.

Sorry for the watermarks but this wasn't exactly a piece of cake to do...
